We are a small team, but strong! We are all passionate about Early Years care and education and we work really hard to provide the best possible experience for your children.
Lucy Saunders
Lucy is our Co-manager, Early Years Teacher with QTS and our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Lucy joined our team in January 2021 and is the lead of the pre-school group (3 & 4 years old). Lucy has 20+ years experience working in reception classes in school and has now joined our team to share her expertise, energy and enthusiasm! You can usually find Lucy surrounded by an eager group of children having fun and fully engaged in their learning! Lucy involves the children in yoga, dance, focussed maths & literacy group time, outdoor play, art and loves taking her group out on nature walks.
Beccie Griffiths
Beccie is also Co-manager, Early Years Teacher, Forest School Leader and our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) & deputy DSL. Beccie has 20 years experience of childcare, providing care for children from 6 months to 11 years old. Beccie is our Forest School Leader. Beccie also takes care of the business side of the setting. You can usually find Beccie outdoors, on the trampoline, in the sand-pit or vegetable garden or with the children or in our Forest School area. She also loves a cosy story in the book corner to warm up and a messy art activity or dancing!
Demelza Perry, Charlotte Little, Emily McArdle, Rosa Payne & Leanne Marsden

Emily Simpson
Emily is an experienced Early Years Practitioner and Childminder. Emily has joined our setting in the Autumn 2022, and with many years of experience in Early Years, is a super new member of staff! Emily works primarily with the nursery group. Emily works 2 long days with us and creates a lovely calm, cosy end to the day for the children who stay to 5/6pm. Emily and the children are often found singing or enjoying quiet stories together.
Alison Nicholls
Ali is an experienced level 4 Early Years Practitioner with 20+ years of experience in nurseries. She joined our team in January 2023 and brings a lovely calm influence and lots of great ideas from all her experience. Ali supports children with their additional (SEND) needs and works with the nursery group and Forest School.
